Horizontal bitumen storage tank with electric heating tubes are widely used for holding different kinds of bitumen in the road construction and maintenance. They come in different sizes with capacities from 30 to 50 cubic meters. Electric heating asphalt tank can be used alone or supported with asphalt mixing plant. Our bitumen tank features in bitumen storage, preheat, dehydration, heating, temperature indicating and high-temperature alarming, etc.
Asphalt storage tank components
Electric heating asphalt tank is mainly composed of tank body, rock wool insulation layer, electric heater, asphalt thermometer, asphalt temperature sensor, asphalt level gauge, pressure level sensor, top manhole, asphalt inlet and outlet, ladder guardrails, electric control box and so on.
Two options
option 1, electric heater heating thermal oil, avoiding asphalt aging by indirect heating.
option 2, electric heater heating asphalt directly, saving cost with lower price.
